Design engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background and hands-on experience in Solid Works and Auto CAD. The candidate shall have at minimum 5 years of industry experience, a deep understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to convert design concepts into manufactureable and quick to implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and modify 3 D models and 2 D drawings using Solid Works and Auto CAD.
• Interpret and work with complex engineering drawings, including a solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
• Design mechanical components and assemblies with consideration for manufacturability, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Perform engineering calculations for stress, load, tolerance stack-ups, and fits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement, etc.) to support the technology
