Lab Technician

Position : Lab Assistant

Location : Vadodara Gujarat

Job Purpose : The Lab Assistant will help the lab run smoothly by managing chemical samples keeping accurate records and handling sample deliveries. This role is important for keeping the lab safe organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities :

Sample Management :

Manage chemical sample inventory and stock ensuring accurate and regular updates.

Package chemical samples into containers following documentation PPE and safety guidelines.

Ensure proper packing and labeling of samples according to customer requirements.

Maintain tracking records for all incoming and outgoing samples.

Document sample movement and share tracking details with customers and lab personnel.

Coordinate with sales teams for customer sampling requests.

Coordinate with personnel for ordering timely dispatch and receipt of samples.

Coordinate with Novecare team members and sales people for sample collection and dispatch.

Safety & Compliance :

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Maintain proper housekeeping and labeling in the sampling area.

Ensure compliance with site safety and regulatory requirements.

Procurement & Consumables :

Coordinate with lab staff for procurement and ordering of samples and consumables.

Maintain inventory of lab consumables and samples ensuring timely replenishment.

Systems & Documentation :

Use G Drive for inward outward and timely updates of sample stock and tracking (experience with these systems is a plus).

Ensure all documentation is accurate up-to-date and compliant with internal standards.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Education :

Diploma in Laboratory Assistant preferred.

• . / Diploma or equivalent from a Science background.

Experience :

Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in Store or chemical management.

Skills :

Good in written and spoken English.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Gmail.

Able to handle chemicals.

Clear communication with sales teams Novecare team members other staff and external partners.

Ability to coordinate and follow up on sample requests dispatches and procurement.

Other Details :

You will be given 1-2 months to understand and get familiar with the processes.
