Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an NDT Level III professional, located in Vadodara. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and performing non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical leadership to the team. The individual will develop and maintain NDT procedures, train personnel, conduct audits, and collaborate with other departments to ensure quality assurance. Additionally, the role involves documentation and reporting of inspection results.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with the development, review, and approval of NDT procedures and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret NDT findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Ability to train, mentor, and certify personnel in NDT disciplines.
- Certification as NDT Level III in relevant methods per ASNT, ISO 9712, or equivalent standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and industry standards such as ASME, API, or ASTM.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
