Who’s your new team?

The Logistics International (LI) team is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations for Group Trucks Operations (GTO) International manufacturing (IM) plants, as well as external logistics operations across the international region (Africa, Asia and Australia). This includes developing supply chain networks, transport systems, and working closely with production and digitalization teams to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment.

The Supply Chain Development team (SCD) within PL LI is leading and developing the E2E supply chain strategy for international manufacturing plants, optimizing network designs, and ensuring alignment with production and logistics goals.

Our team thrives on collaboration and innovation, where every member is encouraged to share ideas and contribute to our mission of developing a zero-emission, innovative and cost-effective supply chain.

We are working very closely with GTO International manufacturing (IM) to lead all logistics activities in product and industrial projects impacting the IM plants.

What’s your role in the team?

As Director Supply Chain Optimization, you will lead a diverse team based in Hosakote, India and Shanghai, China to build a resilient and sustainable supply chain that thrives on cost efficiency, collaboration, and innovation. By harnessing data-driven insights, you will continuously shape and develop future-ready logistics solutions that empower long-term success

Key Responsibilities of your team include :

• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving cost, lead time, sustainability, and resilience
• Scan market trends, explore, benchmark best practices, and pilot innovative supply chain technologies and solutions
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (geopolitical, logistics, supplier reliability) and drive sustainability initiatives (carbon footprint, green logistics, compliance).
• Deliver and optimize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), master data and continuously improve the solutions to meet digital needs
• Coordinate, support, and implement transport sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with supply chain strategy and business objectives
• Provide business support and Key users support on TMS solutions

This position is based in Hosakote, India and reports directly to the Head of Supply Chain Development for Logistics International.
