We are inviting applications from Design Engineers from Electronic Security Industry for the role of Design Engineer, Hyderabad. The detailed job description is mentioned below. 1. Understand client requirements and tender documents related to systems such as Fire Sprinklers, Hydrant (Internal & External), Medium Velocity Water Spray, Fire Extinguishers, Pre-Action System, and design a compliant solution in accordance with NFPA / NBC / BIS standards and local regulations. 2. Derive pre-bid queries, collaborate with the sales team, and participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify project scopes and technical requirements. 3. Conduct site surveys, prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and derive the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) along with the Design Basis Report (DBR) for design-build jobs. 4. Review design considerations for Purchase Orders (PO), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings received from client / consultant. Prepare and submit technical datasheets for client / consultant approvals. 5. Develop Shop Drawings based on GFC and Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) layouts received from clients / consultant, and secure approval for project execution. 6. Conduct orientation sessions for the project teams, explaining design considerations and execution methodologies for efficient project delivery. 7. Submit the Bill of Materials (BOM) to the projects and purchasing teams, detailing billable and non-billable materials. 8. Prepare and hand over as-built drawings to the projects team for project closeout and documentation purposes.
