Junior R & D Engineer in Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing and evaluating existing electrical and hardware designs (wiring harness, PCB assemblies, electrical items).
• Support in developing new design patterns that simplify or optimize without affecting functionality.
• Explore and test customized sensor solutions for automated vending machines with IoT and power electronics.
• Propose and document process optimization ideas (e.g., minimize motor usage, optimize routing, reduce part complexity).
• Participate in mini proof-of-concept (POC) projects under the mentorship of senior engineers.
• Maintain proper documentation of ideas, test results, and innovations for the team's knowledge base.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and procurement teams on feasibility and sourcing.

The Internet of Things (IoT) enables our retailers to better cater to their customers through the installation of smart vending machines.
