The Role
- In this role, you will develop analytics solutions for the Wolters Kluwer Health Finance Business Intelligence team's customers using SQL, advanced programming languages, Power BI dataflows and cloud-based data warehouses (such as Azure Synapse, Fabric OneLake) on the Power BI / Fabric platform
- You will be working within the Wolters Kluwer FSS organization to support the Financial Leadership in identifying financial strategic needs and directions for FSS
Key Responsibilities
Health Finance Reporting and Data Analysis
Review sales, orders and opportunities data to identify trends and patterns, such as anticipated revenue / contract volumes by customer segments and product linesEnable self-service capabilities in Health Finance teams by developing curated datasets in Power BI and / or cloud-based data warehousesIdentify trends and transform raw data to generate business insights for the Health Finance BI team's customersReport Development and Enhancement
Simplify, standardize, and automate existing reports and dashboards built in Excel and other applications to Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Pipelines and Power BIDevelop data models, architecture and pipelines to develop new reporting for various Health segment Finance teams using Microsoft Fabric components, such as Data Factory, OneLake and Power BIEnhance visualization and drill-down capabilities to provide better insights for Root Cause AnalysisBusiness Opportunity Identification and Optimization
Understand key business drivers and build knowledge of Wolters Kluwer Health, its Finance division, and the Business Intelligence team's customersAssist in identifying business unit opportunities and challenges by continually reviewing and analysing financial and operational dataModel trends, identify relationships, and spot opportunitiesTest hypotheses and alternatives to find optimal solutionsCollaborate with other leaders to identify new business models and workflowsAssist in building business cases for necessary investments and strategic plans to achieve planned resultsStakeholder Management

Experience with transforming large datasets in a cloud-based data warehouse (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google Big Query) and generating insights in a visualization platform (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)Required : Bachelor's degree in data science / analytics, finance, accounting, or economics or Engineering in Computer Science, or related quantitative fieldRequired experience : in Data Analysis using SQL, advanced programming languages such as Python / Py-SparkRequired : Experience in visualization tools (like Tableau, Power BI)Knowledge of connecting to various types of data sources through dashboarding tools and PythonSound knowledge of statistical modellingStrong analytical skills capable of multi-tasking in fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to mentor team members / colleagues especially in technical aspects such as debugging and best practices in writing codeAbility to communicate effectively to multiple constituencies in multiple platforms including email
