Summary

Administer and optimize enterprise big-data platforms with Cloudera, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Python, Hue, Cloud, API, and Rangers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and operate Cloudera clusters; capacity planning, high availability, and backups.
• Manage and tune Spark jobs, Kafka brokers / topics, and Hive metastore / LLAP / ACID tables.
• Enable secure access and governance using Rangers (Apache Ranger) policies, audits, and tags.
• Provide platform tooling via Hue for users; automate admin tasks with Python and shell.
• Integrate platform services with external systems via API; connect on-prem and Cloud resources.
• Monitor health and performance; troubleshoot YARN / ResourceManager, HDFS, Zookeeper, and networking issues.
