Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly analytical individual for the role of Associate Director – FP&A .
This is a high-visibility , cross-functional leadership role, designed for a professional who can :
- Shape financial strategy
- Drive business insights
- Lead transformation initiatives
- Strengthen governance and controls
- Deliver end-to-end FP&A and Finance Shared Services (FSS) outcomes
The role combines strategic advisory work , core FP&A responsibilities , project & change management , and oversight of a global finance shared services team . Manage governance around payroll accounting, corporate charges, financial reporting , audits, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Thinking & Advisory
Act as a strategic advisor to function heads;evaluate risks, opportunities, and business interdependencies.
Lead formulation of strategies, OKRs, Balanced Scorecard metrics for business units.Develop impactful storyboards, presentations, workshops , and strategic frameworks.Drive strategic thinking culture across the FP&A and business teams.2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Foster synergy across multiple functions to drive unified portfolio priorities.Promote knowledge-sharing and structured problem-solving across teams.Build strong and trusted stakeholder relationships across geographies.3. Program Governance & Change Management
Deliver executive-level reporting on portfolio performance, OKRs, risks, and progress .Support and influence enterprise transformation efforts with strong change management discipline.Ensure robust communication and stakeholder governance across initiatives.4. Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Enhance portfolio management practices and evolve them for future business needs.Drive Future of Finance transformation : digital interventions, best practices, and automation.Introduce innovative ideas, tools, and process improvements to elevate FP&A capabilities.Country Finance – Core FP&A (70%–80%)
Lead strategic FP&A deliverables including planning, forecasting, budgeting, and deep-dive analytics.Develop engaging executive presentations for business partner visits, town halls, and QBRs.Provide business analysis, external market insights, and forward-looking financial guidance.Ensure execution of contract agreements related to FP&A and Finance Shared Services.Handle business partnering, ad hoc analysis, and leadership support.Finance Shared Services (20%–30%)
Oversee daily operations of a 3-member Global Finance team .Strengthen service delivery quality and create a top-notch partner experience.Conduct periodic business partner roundtables for feedback and alignment.Lead capacity planning, team resiliency, adherence, and business continuity.Guide, mentor, and coach team members to support capability building.Identify efficiency and effectiveness improvements across shared services processes.Attributes for Success

13+ years of post-qualification experience (CA / MBA).Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, portfolio management , and GCC environments preferred.Strong experience working with C-suite stakeholders .Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and large enterprise change programs.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Expertise in SAP, Hyperion, Tableau or similar financial systems preferred.Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and resilience.Strong understanding of digital advancements and industry trends.Work Model : Hybrid
