Network Security Engineer

Network Design & Implementation :

• Design, install, and configure LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections across all warehouses and project offices.
• Develop detailed network topology diagrams and maintain accurate documentation.
• Design scalable network solutions to support future expansion and automation systems (e.g., handheld scanners, IoT devices, IP cameras).
• Plan structured cabling layouts and coordinate with vendors for proper implementation.
• 25 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with Sophos, Fortinet, or similar network equipment.
• Good understanding of structured cabling, fiber, and wireless technologies.
• Ability to handle multiple sites and travel to warehouse / project locations as needed.
• Monitor network performance using tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.
• Ensure uptime and availability across all sites and respond to outages proactively.
• Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Oversee IP address management, VLAN configurations, and routing policies.
• Perform preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and regular configuration backups
• Provide Level 2 / 3 support for network-related escalations from IT support teams.
• Train and guide local IT support staff at warehouse sites.
