Job Opening, Role : Software Engineer (Python & Linux)

This role is with a leading global Hedge fund and investment management firm (client name cannot be disclosed).

Candidates must be from Tier-1 institutes only (IITs, NITs, BITS, MIT).

For candidates with less than 1 year of experience , a minimum 9.0 CGPA is mandatory.

Only the following branches are eligible : Computer Science, Mathematics & Computing, and Information Technology .

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (Python & Linux) with strong programming and problem-solving skills to join our team. You will play a key role in developing scalable systems, solving complex problems, and working across interdisciplinary teams in an agile environment.

Basic Qualifications

Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages (our core environment is Python on Linux).

Note : Prior Python experience is not strictly required—we value a proven track record of successful programming projects.

Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, architecture, and design patterns.

Quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to lead project execution, including translating complex data into actionable results.

Capacity to work independently with focus, discipline, and minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the financial markets.
