Essential Skills :

• Basic Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL Databases : Understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL database architecture, structures, and operations (tablespaces, schemas, data types, etc.
• SQL Proficiency : Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and administrative tasks.
• Basic Backup & Recovery Knowledge : Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for both Oracle (RMAN) and PostgreSQL (pg_dump, pg_basebackup).
• Performance Monitoring & Tuning : Basic experience in monitoring and improving database performance.
• Operating System Knowledge : Familiarity with Linux / Unix or Windows operating systems where Oracle and PostgreSQL are deployed.
• Attention to Detail : Ability to work with accuracy and follow standard operating procedures.
