Senior Accountant - Australian FS / Taxation

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Australian Senior Accountant located in the Mohali district with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additional duties include developing financial strategies, managing payroll, and supervising the accounting team to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in bookkeeping, tax returns, and payroll management
• Expertise in financial planning, BAS, etc.
• Proficiency in auditing, financial statement preparation, and compliance
• Experience in developing financial strategies and managing an accounting team
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment
