Job description8+ years of experience in functional and automation testing Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or JUnit Expertise in API testing using Postman and REST Assured Solid understanding of CI / CD processes and Agile methodologies Proficient in SQL for data validation Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with tools like JIRA and Jenkins Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber Exposure to cloud testing environments and tools Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute functional and regression test cases for web and API applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, TestNG, or JUnit
- Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to understand requirements and provide testing inputs
- Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback
- Execute SQL queries for backend data validation and ensure data integrity
- Participate in defect triage meetings and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Maintain test documentation including test cases, test plans, and test results
- Support BDD framework implementation and collaborate using tools like Jenkins and JIRA
- Perform cloud testing and understand test environments hosted on cloud platforms (bonus)
