The Reservation Manager is responsible for overseeing the reservations team ensuring maximum room revenue through effective inventory management accurate forecasting and excellent guest service. The role requires coordination with Sales Revenue and Front Office to maintain smooth booking operations and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage daily operations of the reservations department.
Supervise and train reservation agents to ensure high-quality service.
Monitor room availability rate strategies and booking trends.
Handle group bookings corporate accounts and VIP reservations.
Work closely with the Revenue Manager to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Ensure all reservations are accurately entered in the PMS.
Prepare reports on reservation statistics occupancy forecasts and booking pace.
Address guest queries special requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain relationships with travel agents and corporate clients.
Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping for smooth arrivals and departures.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
Strong knowledge of PMS (Opera).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and revenue management understanding.
Additional Information :
Minimum 35 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office.
