Position : ELV Engineer ( CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Audio Visual & Networking)

Location : New Delhi

Employment : Full time

Remuneration : Rs. 30k - 50k (depending on years of expertise)

The ELV Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, testing, and maintaining Extra-Low Voltage systems within commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering reliable and high-quality ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, networking, audio-visual, and building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

Develop ELV system designs including schematics, layouts, and BOQs.
Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
Conduct load calculations and system integration planning.
Ensure designs meet local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.

Installation & Implementation

Supervise installation, termination, and configuration of ELV systems.

Oversee cabling works, equipment mounting, and system integration.

Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.

Testing & Commissioning

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning for all ELV systems.

Prepare test reports, commissioning documents, and as-built drawings.

Project Coordination & Management

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, IT, civil).

Attend project meetings and provide technical support on-site.

Manage project timelines, materials, and ensure quality compliance.

Maintenance & Support

Provide post-installation support, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades.

Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in ELV(CCTV, access control, networking, fire alarm, PA system) engineering.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings , schematics, and layouts

Familiarity with system integration and coordination between electrical and ELV services.

Strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations .

Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
