Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects related to ELV systems and building automation . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as Fire Alarms, Public Address, Water Leak Detection, Smoke Aspiration, IBMS, PLCs , and a good understanding of project workflows and standards.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field

2-3 years of hands-on experience with the following ELV & Automation systems :

Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)

Public Address Systems (PA)

Water Leak Detection (WLD)

Smoke Aspiration Systems (HSSD)

IBMS & Building Automation

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables

Create project timelines, resource and cost estimates

Ensure designs comply with codes and standards

2. Coordination & Communication

Act as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors

Provide regular updates, technical clarifications, and status reports

Collaborate with internal teams for seamless execution

3. Technical Oversight

Supervise ELV / automation implementation and integration

Troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and handover

Validate systems against technical specifications and safety norms

4. Budget & Schedule Management

Monitor project costs and control expenditures

Track progress against schedules and take corrective actions when needed

Identify and mitigate project risks

5. Quality & Compliance

Conduct quality checks, audits, and site inspections

Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality regulations

Drive continuous improvement in deliverables

6. Leadership & Mentorship

Guide and supervise junior engineers and site teams

Foster a positive and collaborative team culture

Provide on-the-job technical training when required

7. Problem-Solving & Closure

Proactively address challenges during design or execution

Ensure thorough project closeout, documentation, and client handover

Participate in post-project reviews and lessons-learned meetings

Skills Required

Solid understanding of ELV, IBMS, and automation technologies

Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD , and project tracking tools

Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

MS Project / PMP / Primavera

Vendor certifications in ELV / IBMS / BMS system
