The Manager - IT Asset Management at MYCPEONE is responsible for the strategic oversight, lifecycle management, and governance of all IT assets across the organization.
This role ensures that IT hardware, software, and related assets are effectively tracked, maintained, and optimized to support business operations, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency.
The manager will lead a team and collaborate with procurement, finance, security, and IT operations teams to enforce best practices in asset management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry frameworks (e.g , ITIL, ISO 19770).
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and software), including acquisition, inventory tracking, usage, optimization, and disposal.
- Lead software license management, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and minimizing risk of audits or penalties.
- Manage asset discovery tools and CMDB integrations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset data.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets and licensing to identify discrepancies or potential savings.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization of IT assets.
- Monitor vendor contracts and renewals, and support negotiation of terms related to IT assets and licensing.
- Supervise and develop a team of ITAM, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Produce and present regular reports and dashboards to senior management on asset utilization, compliance, and performance metrics.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven experience in software licensing, vendor management, and IT contract negotiations.Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.Key Competencies :
