The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth for our product lines, including hair care, cooking edible oils, spices, and coconut oil. This role requires a strong understanding of the FMCG sector, General Trade Sales skills, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities : -
Sales & Revenue Targets
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, annual sales targets for coconut oil (and possibly related product lines such as edible oils, spices, etc.).
Forecast sales volumes, monitor performance vs target.
Territory / Distributor Management
Manage and grow the territory by optimizing coverage—ensuring products reach retailers, distributors, wholesalers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, modern trade, key accounts.
Ensure product availability – address distribution gaps, prevent stock‑outs, ensure timely deliveries.
Trade Execution & Visibility
Ensure good in‑store execution : shelf placements, displays, point‑of‑sale (POS) materials, brand visibility.
Promote products via trade promotions, offers, demos (if applicable), activation campaigns.
Monitor competitor activities (pricing, promotions, new product entries) and provide feedback.
Team / Field Force Coordination (if applicable)
Supervise or coordinate with junior sales officers / sales promoters in your territory.
Coach, mentor, motivate the field sales team to perform well.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, distributor feedback, market share, stock and order status.
Analyze market dynamics : demand shifts, competition, consumer preferences.
Suggest corrective actions or strategies based on data.
Customer / Retailer Engagement
Visit key retailers / wholesalers to build relationships.
Resolve issues related to orders, product quality, delivery delays, etc.
Collect feedback from users or retailers and communicate those back to internal teams (marketing / production).
Planning & Strategy
Participate in sales planning : territory plans, route plans, sales forecasts.
Execute strategies laid out by senior management to increase penetration, growth in share of market.
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Marketing or relevant field. MBA or specialization is a plus.
Minimum Experience
usually 3 years in sales in FMCG
Proven record of meeting / exceeding sales targets.
