Principal Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering (Test Automation)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Automation of ASIC Development Flows

Pre-Silicon Emulation and FPGA Prototyping Automation : Automate pre-silicon emulation and FPGA prototyping flows, including setup, execution, and analysis.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks for ASIC development flows, including synthesis, simulation, and verification.

CI / CD Pipeline Development : Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other SCM tools.

Automation Framework Development

• : Develop and maintain automation frameworks for pre-silicon and post-silicon development environments.

Integration with DevOps Tools : Integrate automation frameworks with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Git etc.

AI Capability Integration : Integrate AI capabilities into automation frameworks to improve productivity and efficiency to ASIC development flows.

Collaboration with Development Team : Work with development teams to build self-service build tools and reusable deployment jobs.

Technical Requirements :

Programming Languages : Strong experience in Python, C / C++, Shell / Bash, and other scripting languages.

Automation Tools : Experience with automation tools, such as Selenium Web automation, Django, and dashboards.

CI / CD Tools : Experience with CI / CD tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and other tools.

DevOps : Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience working with IT teams to develop, integrate, and deploy test automation infrastructure.

ASIC Flows : Knowledge of ASIC development flows and pre-silicon platforms development flows.

FPGA / Emulation Hardware : Experience with FPGA hardware, Emulation Hardware & Bring Up to speed up automation framework to improve productivity & efficiency.

Digital Design : Experience with FPGA-based prototyping development & Emulation Infrastructure to help automate from design porting, simulations to design DB deployment in an FPGA & Emulator FARM Infrastructure.

Qualifications

Preferred :

Experience in ASIC / Firmware / Embedded Environments : Experience working in ASIC, firmware, or embedded environments.

Knowledge of ASIC Tools : Knowledge of ASIC tools and pre-silicon platform tools.

Knowledge of Protocol Analyzers : Knowledge of protocol analyzers and measurement equipment.

Experience with SoC / Microcontrollers / Microprocessors : Experience working with System on Chip, microcontrollers, microprocessors, or FPGA boards.
