About the Role
This is a hybrid role that blends strategy, finance, and execution . You’ll work directly with the founders on high-impact strategic initiatives and ensure that Cumin Co.’s financial backbone — models, processes, MIS and investor reporting — stays sharp and decision-ready.
You’ll move fluidly between :

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Initiatives & Special Projects
Lead cross-functional strategic projects (category launches, pricing overhauls, GTM plans, international expansion, OEM evaluations).Build strategy documents, roadmaps, and internal frameworks to bring clarity to ambiguous business problems.Conduct market and competitive analysis to support category and business planning.2. Storytelling, Decks & Investor Communication
Own creation of founder-level decks :Investor pitchesBoard decksMonthly / quarterly review decksCategory strategy decksFundraising narrative and storyline developmentConvert complex data and founder insights into clear, compelling business stories .Maintain brand-consistent visual language and messaging.3. Financial Modelling, Valuation & Business Planning
Build and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and category feasibility.Conduct valuation work : DCFs, comparables, dilution models, cap-table planning, and fundraising structures.Partner with founders on AOPs, 3-year plans, category P&Ls, and business cases.Track and evaluate unit economics, CM3, working capital, CAC / LTV, pricing levers, and profitability drivers .4. Accounting, Finance Processes & MIS
Work closely with the internal finance team and external CFO partners to :Strengthen monthly MIS flows (internal + investor-facing).Improve financial hygiene — revenue recognition, COGS clarity, accruals, and expense classifications.Participate in monthly book-closing conversations and help validate numbers before leadership review.Drive automation in reporting, dashboards, and financial systems wherever possible.Support compliance-linked financial requirements (BIS, OEM costing audits, SKU costing reviews).Conduct deep dives on SKU-level margin tracking, inventory movements, and cost structures.5. Cross-functional Partnership
Work with Marketing, Ops, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience to tie financial decisions back to business outcomes.Help founders maintain clarity across fast-moving priorities and data-heavy decisions.Who You Are
2–5 years in consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or founder’s office .Strong financial modelling + valuation fundamentals.Excellent at presentations, structuring, and communicating insights.Comfortable diving into accounting details when needed — and zooming out for strategy the next minute.Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.CA / MBA preferred, but analytical and execution skillsets matter more.Why Cumin Co.
