Job Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications through rigorous testing practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automation testing, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Understand business requirements and prepare detailed test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile platforms.
Identify, log, and track bugs through a defect management system.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams for timely issue resolution.
Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance of software.
Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills :

Strong knowledge of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.

Experience in manual testing and basic automation testing.

Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar.

Experience in API testing (Postman or similar).

Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.

Good understanding of test case design and defect lifecycle.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have :

Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

Knowledge of scripting / programming languages like Java or Python for test automation.

Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.

Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
