The Piping Stress Analysis professional will be responsible for conducting stress analysis studies on piping systems, components and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulation.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in piping stress analysis techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in using industry-leading software tools for stress analysis, such as CAESAR II
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ASME B31.3, ASME B31.1, API 570, and API 579
- Understanding of piping system design principles and engineering principles
- Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Professional certification or license in the field of piping stress analysis is a plus
- Prior experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries is preferred
