The Assistant Import / Export Manager will support the import and export operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating smooth logistics. This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate effectively with various stakeholders and contribute to the efficiency of the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of import / export operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth logistics.
- Prepare and review shipping documents and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Monitor shipments and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain communication with suppliers and clients regarding order status and shipping updates.
- Support the development and implementation of import / export policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.1-5 years of experience in import / export operations or supply chain management.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with vendors and customers effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Skills Required
