As an SAP ABAP Lead Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technical backbone of our ERP systems. Your expertise will drive the development of scalable, high-performance SAP solutions that support critical business operations. By mentoring junior developers and enforcing best practices, you’ll elevate the overall quality and consistency of our SAP development efforts, ensuring long-term system reliability and adaptability.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs including WRICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Enhancing system performance through code optimization and debugging.
• Implementing system modifications using BADI, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework.
• Integrating SAP with external systems via APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Leading and mentoring junior developers, promoting coding standards and reusable components.
• Making architectural decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver future-ready solutions.
• Conducting code reviews, managing support tickets, and ensuring documentation standards.
• Supporting development tasks across multiple projects and time zones, especially EU regions.
