About the Role :
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Social Media Associate to manage direct messages (DMs) and comments across our social media platforms. The role requires strong communication skills, quick response handling, and the ability to represent the brand's voice consistently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to customer queries received via DMs and comments across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Engage with followers by acknowledging comments, answering questions, and redirecting queries to the concerned team if needed.
- Provide accurate, helpful, and brand-consistent responses to customer concerns and inquiries.
- Escalate complex issues to the relevant team while ensuring timely follow-up.
- Maintain response quality and adhere to turnaround time (TAT) for resolving queries.
- Track and report recurring concerns, customer sentiment, and feedback from social interactions.
- Support community engagement by fostering a positive and interactive environment.
- Stay updated on trending topics, brand mentions, and competitor activity.
Requirements
Proven experience in social media handling, customer service, or community management.Strong written communication skills with attention to grammar and tone.Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).Good problem-solving and judgment skills to decide when to escalate.Flexibility to work in shifts / weekends (if required).Basic knowledge of CRM or social media management tools (e.g., Freshchat, Freshdesk,Bik etc.) is a plus.Key Skills
