Key Responsibilities :
Procurement Management :
- Identify and source suppliers for required goods and services.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery terms.
Negotiation :
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.Maintain positive relationships with vendors and address any issues that arise.Order Processing :
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.Monitor order status and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.Inventory Control :
Maintain optimal inventory levels and conduct regular stock assessments.Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock storage and distribution.Market Research :
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay informed about industry trends.Analyze pricing trends to make informed purchasing decisions.Reporting :
Prepare procurement reports and present findings to management.Monitor budgetary compliance and report any discrepancies.Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments, such as finance and operations, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.Participate in cross-functional teams for special projects as needed.Qualification-Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engg.
Experience- 3 years of experience in Engg. Procurement.
