Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems – ARCS
As an integral part of the EPM financial systems team, this role will be responsible for the monthly administration and routine maintenance, continual automation & enhancement, and system initiatives for Oracle ARCS, with the primary focus on ARCS Compliance. This position will closely partner with various finance & accounting teams to support day-to-day operations as well as business initiatives. This position will act as the administrator of ARCS, with the primary focus on ARCS Compliance.
The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of accounting reconciliations and transaction matching, along with hands-on experience maintaining reconciliation systems. A successful candidate demonstrates a drive for learning new systems, solving problems independently, and continuously improving processes. Experience working with Oracle ARCS Compliance is required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
EPM Implementation & Administration (70%) :
- Serve as the primary administrator for Oracle ARCS Compliance, managing daily requests, incidents, and monthly close activities.
- Lead and validate monthly ARCS patch testing, ensuring seamless updates and minimal disruption.
- Own the change management process for ARCS Compliance.
- Become an ad hoc reporting expert and solve problems particularly for accounting business partners.
- Develop and maintain reconciliation profiles, formats, compliance rules, match types, mappings, and reports.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and training materials for ARCS processes and administration.
- Perform testing and prepare documentation for EPM implementation with the focus on ARCS.
- Develop partnerships within the financial systems team and with other teams including IT.
- Support regular EPM system training with various business partners as necessary, with the focus on ARCS.
- Support monthly close activities by validating reconciliation completeness and accuracy.
- Support other EPM applications (FCCS, EPBCS, EDMCS) as needed.
System Enhancements & Company Initiatives (30%) :
Assist with testing, documentation, and validation for system enhancements and company-wide initiatives.Identify and develop automation opportunities such as creating EPM automate scripts, automating validation process, etc.Be ready to support all ARCS changes and testing for company initiatives when needed, such as chart of account changes, system integrations.Continually assess how EPM apps can be enhanced to support the business environment, e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, restatements, fully leverage existing or new application technology.Continually assess and update the process and master data governance.Support design, documentation, development, testing and validation of other EPM enhancement projects when needed.Work with end users to continuously improve Inspire financial systems and offer efficient problem-solving solutions.Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields including Accounting or Accounting Information Systems2-3 years' experience working in Oracle ARCS or Blackline. Experience with transaction matching is preferred.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Has a high desire to learn financial systems & continuous self-development.Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results which may include the need for overtime work during peak activity periods.
