construction supervisor oversees daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing workers and subcontractors, coordinating schedules, enforcing safety protocols, inspecting work quality, and communicating project status to managers and clients.

Key responsibilities

Project oversight : Manage daily activities, ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, and implement changes as needed.

Workforce management : Supervise and assign tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor their performance, and help resolve any on-site disputes.

Safety and compliance : Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections to identify hazards, and ensure workers follow all safety procedures.

Quality control : Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure it adheres to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.

Communication : Act as the main point of contact between site crews, subcontractors, and project managers. Report on progress, coordinate with vendors, and facilitate clear communication across all levels.

Planning and scheduling : Coordinate the daily work schedule for the crew and plan project activities to keep them on track.

Administrative duties : Maintain records, such as attendance and progress reports. Review construction plans and manage material orders and deliveries.

Requirements

Conducting surveys and gathering data for land development and construction projects. Designing and setting up survey systems, including total stations and GPS receivers. Performing calculations and analyzing data to produce accurate survey reports.
