Key responsibilitiesProject oversight : Manage daily activities, ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, and implement changes as needed.Workforce management : Supervise and assign tasks to workers and subcontractors, monitor their performance, and help resolve any on-site disputes.Safety and compliance : Enforce health and safety regulations, conduct site inspections to identify hazards, and ensure workers follow all safety procedures.Quality control : Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure it adheres to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.Communication : Act as the main point of contact between site crews, subcontractors, and project managers. Report on progress, coordinate with vendors, and facilitate clear communication across all levels.Planning and scheduling : Coordinate the daily work schedule for the crew and plan project activities to keep them on track.Administrative duties : Maintain records, such as attendance and progress reports. Review construction plans and manage material orders and deliveries.
