The Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead, mentor, and rapidly scale our Bangalore engineering team. You will play a critical role in building our MVP from the ground up, partnering closely with product leadership to translate customer needs into a robust, AI-driven SaaS platform.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in the challenge of starting with a small, high-caliber team and scaling to a much larger group over the next two years. You should love building new products, enjoy the energy of in-person collaboration, and be motivated to shape both the product and the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale : Manage, mentor, and inspire a growing engineering team (currently 3 engineers), with a mandate to recruit and develop a much larger team over 24 months.
• MVP builder : Collaborate with Product and Design to architect, build, and deliver the neuroGrid MVP—applying enterprise SaaS best practices.
• Product & customer focus : Work closely with product leadership to deeply understand user needs and ensure technical execution aligns with business goals.
• AI product experience : Apply AI / ML technologies to automate and optimize customer workflows.
• Judgment & ambiguity : Make effective decisions and provide clarity in ambiguous or fast-evolving situations.
• Culture builder : Foster an open, high-performance engineering culture; mentor engineers and encourage growth.
• In-person leadership : Champion in-office collaboration, team building, and cross-functional partnerships.
