Job Description – Product Manager Location : Mumbai (Rentkar Office – 304 Royal Enclave One, Andheri East)

CTC : ₹3 – 4.5 LPA

Experience : 1-2 (freshers with strong projects also welcome)

Role Overview We are looking for a Product Manager who can bridge the gap between our users (gamers, musicians, creators) and our tech team . You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and marketing to improve Rentkar’s platform (web + app) and build features that make renting effortless, reliable, and fun.

Key Responsibilities Understand Users : Conduct research, interviews, and analyze feedback from gamers, musicians, and creators using Rentkar.

Product Roadmap : Assist in defining, prioritizing, and executing features that improve search, booking, delivery, and post-rental experience.

Software Product Management : Write clear feature specs and user stories; collaborate with engineers on feasibility and timelines.

Tech Familiarity : Work with teams using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and Next.js to understand trade-offs and deliver faster.

Cross-Team Collaboration : Coordinate with design, operations, and logistics to ensure smooth launches.

Data & Metrics : Track KPIs like bookings, cancellations, delivery times, user retention; suggest improvements.

QA & Testing : Ensure product quality by testing features before launch.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field .

Strong interest in tech products, startups, and consumer platforms .

Familiarity with MERN stack / Next.js (not as a developer, but to understand product constraints).

Good communication & problem-solving skills.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced startup environment .

Good to Have Experience (internship / project) in UI / UX, product analytics, or software projects .

Exposure to tools like Figma, Notion, Jira, or Trello .

Passion for gaming, music, or content creation (our primary user base!).

Knowledge of agile / scrum processes.
