Job descriptionDrive project sales for the assigned territory. Forecast sales, build project pipelines, and achieve sales and specification budgets. Identify new conversion opportunities and convert them into revenue-generating business. Manage select customer initiatives and technical engagements. Ensure timely order extraction, delivery, and end-to-end execution. Generate and drive specifications with Developers, Architects, PMCs, Clients, and Turnkey contractors across assigned and other territories. Identify and drive business development initiatives focused on new products, applications, and key account segments. Continuously gather insights on competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform strategic actions for market share improvement. Educational Qualification : BE (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical) or equivalent. Preferred PG Qualification : MBA will be an advantage. Sales and marketing of building material industry or related segments. Handling key accounts, especially involving architects and project influencers. Strong customer orientation with a proactive mindset to unlock value in key accounts. Ability to manage technical sales and project-based selling in a competitive market. Strong interpersonal skills for influencing architects, PMCs, and developers. Self-driven with analytical thinking and excellent execution capability. Deep product knowledge and ability to engage in engineering-led discussions. Excellent communication and networking skills. Strong persuasion and negotiation ability. Product and technical knowledge including drawings, project management, sustainability.
This position is responsible for retaining and expanding the key accounts portfolio in the Plasters Boards business in Bangalore. It supports the organization's mission by building long-term relationships, increasing customer engagement, expanding the customer base in new territories, and driving sustainable market share growth through project and specification sales.
