About the Role
Calix India is seeking an experienced Manager IT Operations to oversee and manage the Information Technology function for our India office. This role will be responsible for leading a local IT team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and global IT leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving service excellence, leading teams, and fostering continuous improvement in IT operations.
Key & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the local IT operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing culture with clear accountability and continuous development.
- Set performance objectives and monitor progress against business and IT operational goals.
Operational Oversight
Manage daily IT operations, including end-user support, incident response, and service delivery.Serve as the escalation point for complex issues and ensure timely resolution through internal teams or external vendors.Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and processes.Oversee service delivery performance and ensure operations are efficient and effective.Stakeholder & Business Engagement
Act as the key liaison between the Calix India office and global IT leadership.Build strong relationships with local management and business teams to understand needs and provide effective solutions.Communicate IT initiatives, updates, and priorities in a clear and business-focused manner.Strategic & Project Participation
Contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects at the local, regional, and global level.Identify opportunities for process improvement and service enhancements.Support the adoption of new tools, systems, and practices that align with organizational strategy.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors / Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations or management roles.Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and build effective stakeholder relationships.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Experience in vendor coordination and managing service delivery outcomes.Ability to balance hands-on problem solving with leadership and strategic responsibilities.(ref : iimjobs.com)
