Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced HR Generalist who will play a pivotal role in establishing and executing end-to-end HR operations for our growing India team. This is a unique opportunity to build HR infrastructure from the ground up in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with a clear progression path to HR Business Partner role within 6-12 months, eventually supporting our UK operations.
Candidates with proven experience in building entire end-to-end HR Operations charter / HRBP in a SaaS-based startup environment will be given strong preference. Candidates with a 30 day notice period will only be considered. Candidates with a 60 or a 90 day notice period will be auto disqualified for the role.
This is an HR Operations role at mid-senior level. Candidates with heavy talent acquisition experience need not apply for the role as they won't be considered.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Foundation Building
- Design and implement comprehensive HR operations charter from inception to execution
- Develop HR Business Handbook covering all policies, processes, and operational guidelines
- Establish robust onboarding and offboarding frameworks that enhance employee experience
- Create and maintain HR processes that scale with organizational growth
- Execute day-to-day HR operations with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
Employee Engagement & Experience
Drive employee engagement initiatives and measure their effectiveness through regular surveysDesign and implement people experience programs that foster a positive workplace cultureAct as primary SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all employee policy questions and clarificationsProactively identify and address employee engagement challenges before they escalateCreate feedback mechanisms and implement action plans based on employee insightsPerformance Management
Establish performance management frameworks aligned with business objectivesSupport managers in performance conversations, goal setting, and development planningDesign and execute performance review processes that drive employee growthIdentify and implement performance improvement strategies across teamsStrategic Growth Support

Must-Have Experience
5-8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a SaaS or technology startup environmentProven track record of building end-to-end HR operations from ground upStrong experience in employee engagement, performance management, and people experienceHands-on experience with onboarding / offboarding processes and policy developmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality resultsEssential Skills
