Network Engineer - Routing & Switching

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer (L3 Support) to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cisco switching, enterprise routing, firewall administration, wireless technologies, and issue troubleshooting. You will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our organization's network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure and manage Cisco switches, including STP, VTP, Port-channels, SNMP, and Access-lists
• Ensure network stability and optimal performance across LAN / WAN environments
• Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, Static Routing, and Route Redistribution
• Configure and manage Fortinet / FortiGate and Cisco ASA firewalls
• Monitor firewall rules and ensure compliance with security policies
• Assist in the planning and implementation of network security measures
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless networks, including access points and wireless controllers
• Ensure wireless coverage, performance, and security across all user environments
• Proactively monitor network health and performance using SNMP-based tools
• Identify and resolve L1L3 network issues with minimal downtime
• Provide escalation support for critical incidents and outages
• Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, configuration backups, and change logs
• Document technical procedures, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution steps
• Work closely with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and applications teams for cross-functional projects
• Assist in network expansion, migrations, and technology upgrades
• Support audits and maintain compliance with network-related regulations and standards
