Mechanical CAD design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of mechanical enclosures of aerospace embedded systems and structural analysis of theses designs. Proven ability to create robust, manufacturable designs, adhering to engineering principles and industry best practices, is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using the CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo for Electronic Sub-systems for defense and aerospace applications.
• Develop mechanical designs from concept through detailed engineering and prototyping to production.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs) as per standards.
• Support hardware development and testing, including troubleshooting and iterative design improvements and interactions with manufacturing house.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations for structural analysis, stress, thermal, tolerance analysis of the designs.
• Select materials and components suitable for design, cost, and manufacturability.
• Conduct design reviews and implement feedback from peers and stakeholders.
• Support testing and validation of prototypes, analyze test data, and iterate on designs.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective and timely production.
