Trade And Transaction Reporting Associate Change Analytics & Strategy

Were seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Operations Risk And Regulatory Control team. TTRO CTB teams are engaged in the development of platforms and processes supporting upcoming regulatory change in a high focus rapidly evolving environment. Supporting a broad stakeholder base TTRO CTB liaise with various internal and external counterparties daily and work closely with the run the bank (RTB) and Technology teams to ensure that the transaction reporting is in line with the regulatory requirements industry best practice and the Firms ISG trading activity.

In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. T his is an Associate level position level position within the firmwide operations division.

What youll do in the role :

As a CTB Operations Specialist perform business analysis activities in order to define solutions utilising a mix of product process knowledge and technical domain knowledge. They partner with RTB Tech and other stakeholders on solution implementation analyse and exposes complex issues identify root causes and propose future actions.

Work on the remediation effort for controls for the defined area and work with the Controls Standards Committee to ensure best practice

Deliver remediation effort for reconciliation controls on the Legacy platform and / or on the new reporting platform.

Work closely with the Run the Bank team to ensure that controls are rolled out effectively.

Partner with other employees and consultants in the Controls CTB team.

Document business processes business rules and reference data requirements

Become a key contact for IT colleagues to assist on query resolution during system design and build

Plan test and control deployment and verification process. Prepare test strategy and approach

Ensure timely escalation of any issues to Operations Management and IT where appropriate.

Work towards improving efficiency controls and overall reporting framework.

What youll bring to the role :

You will have a Bachelor Degree with at least 4 years of relevant working experience

You will have a background in Capital Markets and preferably knowledge of Derivative Products including Listed Derivatives FX Commodities Equity Credit and Interest Rates.

You have preferably worked on Business Process Transformation initiatives and Software Delivery projects; to identify project risks and barriers; to support Business Migration through process change or software delivery; and to track and realise business benefits

You work well as part of a team including interfacing across all levels

You can identify the right levels of control and measures required for an operations workflow building a strong yet flexible workflow.

You actively ensure existence of mitigating controls and take personal responsibility for enhancing processes.

You are aware of the long term impact of regulatory environment and market changes on the business. You make plans where appropriate to adapt control processes and procedures.

You will be articulate and have strong communication skills especially by phone / video

You are able to prioritize effectively.

You actively look for new opportunities for self-development and career progression.

You show dedication to learn from experience and mistakes; actively seek out feedback and adjust behavior accordingly.

You consistently exceed expectations and respond actively and positively to changing circumstances.

You will have an added advantage if you possess prior regulatory experience in MiFID / EMIR / CFTC or other APAC regulations
