Job descriptionB.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile Engineering 4–8 Years CATIA V5 (GSD, Sheet Metal, Part, Assembly, Drawing) Teamcenter, Vismockup GD&T, WERS, GPDS, DPA 0 / 1 (E2KS) BIW Design (Underbody, Closures, Front End Structure, Upper Body) Vehicle Integration, AL-PL Layout, Master Sections, Packaging Manufacturing processes, Tooling, Stamping & Assembly Sequences Knowledge of Regulations & Homologation requirements Develop BIW CAD concepts & solutions for Passenger and Commercial Vehicles. Contribute to concept creation, VA-VE, and innovative proposals. Define & implement joining strategies (SPOT welding, MIG welding, attachments). Ensure design compliance with vehicle attributes, cost, weight, quality & timing. Coordinate with manufacturing for mass production feasibility & assembly sequence. Collaborate with CAE team to meet Safety, NVH, Deflection & Fatigue requirements. Lead integration with Suspension, Powertrain, Exterior & Interior systems. Conduct engineering reviews, ensure proper clearances & DPA standards. Interpret DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T to enhance design quality. Chennai
