Job Description : Lead DevSecOps Engineer

As a DevSecOps engineer, your typical week would include the following

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure for Prudential Health India, including all aspects of DevSecOps e.g. release management, infrastructure provisioning through CI / CD tools, monitoring & alerting of application, database management, infrastructure security and site reliability engineering.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, to deployment to production, to triaging production issues, to proactive monitoring.
• Design, develop, unit test and implement pipeline and infrastructure programs that support high availability (5 9’s uptime), flex scalability, reliability (instant failover to BCP / DR) with latency to be 99th percentile being less than 30ms.
• Come up with desired sets of standards to be followed to build and deploy backend and frontend continuously and seamlessly.
• Conceptualize and incorporate reusable pipelines and infrastructure development frameworks.
• Create specifications and detailed plans, write code, own unit, performance and functional testing and debugging, and play an active role in the rollout and launch.
• Work in close collaboration with other engineers, designers, R&D, analysts, product managers and other teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes for the company.
• Required to forecast, budgeting and optimize software license & infrastructure costs.
• Manage multiple interfaces (internal and external), relationship and communication to ensure systems are running and available.
• Mentor and upskill other technical staff on DevSecOps principles.
• Develop capabilities ingrained with enough intelligence around user activities and usage 100% adherence to enable user behavioural analytics using events and crashalytics
• You can define and ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards
• Keeping up with innovativeness to build world class propositions using bleeding edge technologies, frameworks and best practices as needed to bring differentiation through technology.
