About the Role

Join our dynamic Delivery Pipeline DevOps group at Applied Materials, where we are dedicated to developing the DevOps infrastructure. Our team is responsible for maintaining the reliability, support, and high availability of our operational environment. We enable the Research & Development group to leverage CI / CD tools, infrastructure, and automations to drive innovation and efficiency.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a DevOps group responsible for handling on-prem initiatives, providing, planning, executing, and reporting on various infrastructure and code projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our DevOps processes and systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the next generation DevOps infrastructure.
• Ensure the reliability, support, and high availability of the operational environment.
• Enable the Research & Development group to use CI / CD tools, infrastructure, and automation.
• Handle on-prem initiatives, including support, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DevOps processes and systems.
• Implement best practices for DevOps and infrastructure management.
