Harman Automotive is looking for a motivated and passionate Presales and Solution Leader for its Automotive Engineering Services business to drive its business portfolio expansion. The role requires understanding of Harman products and services Automotive ecosystem and future growth requirements as well as ability to develop a go-to-market strategy in a compelling way in customer pursuits. The ideal candidate should have good experience in Automotive technology trends and evolution varying expectation of Automotive OEMs across various Sectors as well as Automotive ecosystem players like Automotive Tier 1 / Tier 2 and Semiconductor companies Fleet Management organizations Hyperscalers. The person should be well articulated in presentation written and verbal mode should have experience in Business case preparation and roll-out engaging with broader team and ecosystem player for business penetration and growth.
What You Will Do
Scope : . This role is responsible for enabling business growth of AES by identifying and executing growth options targeting new customer segments new domains / technology. This role predominantly engages with Sales Strategy & Partnership team and Domain team ensuring the definition & roll-out of the growth options.
Key Accountabilities :
GTM (Go To Market) New Offering :
- Identification of New vehicle segments to drive AES offering
- Identification of New Domains / Services / Offering targeting New Vehicle segments and existing customer portfolio
- Defining and executing the GTM for new Domains and vehicle segments
- Engage with Harman ecosystem (BU s Technology Partners etc.) for positioning of AES expertise develop joint offering and GTM and customer proposition development for New Domains and Vehicle segments
- Develop and deliver proactive propositions and Winning proposals to ensure business wins and sector and domain penetration
Presales for New Offering :
Working directly with clients / prospects to understand their business strategy program requirements and providing high quality offering to develop long lasting business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence.Presenting and engaging closely with prospects / customers during events bid meetings and conferences.Create presentations in various formats visible on desktop and mobile that move from standard slide by slide walkthroughs to compelling stories even on the most seemingly mundane topics.Collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues both locally and remote. Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues clients and key stakeholders across the organization both inside and outside AESSolution Engineering for New Offering :
Accelerate new and attractive concepts into the sales-ready product portfolio by creating compelling and differentiated product & services propositions by incorporating agreed upon Harman ready solutions Partner solutions and AES offeringInfluence global offering strategies through strategy reviews technology capability assessment innovation screening price / cost curves.Cross Divisional planning and prioritization (with Domain Business and Sales team) of product and aligned services and product portfolio.Think beyond the technology itself and understand key business drivers that ensure technology investment will provide substantial value or improvements to customers.Identify Go-To-Market strategies and effective sales product / services pitches in close collaboration with product marketing and sales.What You Need to Be Successful
12-15 years experience of Engineering experience with 10 years of in-depth strategy or presales or product management experience in Automotive SW & Services for Automotive OEM / Tier 1 / Semiconductor providerBachelors degree in engineering with MBA (preferred)Knowledge of automotive technologies and industry trends adjacent technologies effecting Automotive evolutionStrong experience and working engagement with Automotive ecosystem providers like Tier 1s Semiconductor companies Hyperscalers Service Providers Apps and Toolset providers areKnowledge of business case development and basic financial metricsExperience working in a matrix global organization by collaborating with key stakeholders.Results and detail-oriented : hold him / herself and others accountable for commitments.Expert communication skills - written verbal and presentation.Creative problem-solver with the ability to work with a blank slate and inspire others.Intellectual and curious with a passion for storytelling.Basic Project Management skills and ability to perform under tight timelines.Proactive self-sufficient and professional with strong organizational and time management skills.Bonus Points if You Have
Experience in developing & executing GTM strategy for EVs Automotive Tier 1 Fleet providersExperience in developing & executing GTM strategy for ADAS and Battery technologyWhat Makes You Eligible
