MAIN TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES
1. Works under the guidance of the Incubator AC battery Leader to ensure technical alignment.
2. Run detailled analysis on the existing power electronic boards developed by the Incubator.
3. Designs schematics of electronic board functions : snubber, high-current switching, over-current detection, over-voltage limiters
4. Designs board layouts taking into account system integration requirements
5. Assembles the 1st prototype board in the electronic lab
6. Organizes the assembly process of consolidated board designs by a local prototype EMS
7. Tests prototype boards in the electronic lab.
8. Supports the AC battery prototype team to tests new power boards on batteries.
9. Creates locally an electornic lab to develop and test prototype boards.
10. Supports the AC battery prototype team to tests new power boards on batteries.
11. REPORTING
12. Documents power electronics design and validation activities with clarity and precision.
13. Prepares and delivers regular progress reports to both hierarchical and functional managers.
KNOWLEDGE SHARING
1. Participates actively in Saft’s Electronic Technical Circles to share knowledge and best practices.
2. Provides technical feedback and insights to improve electronic design methodologies.
3. Monitors the state-of-the-art on power electronics for battery-related topics and, particularly, on multi-level converter
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
MANDATORY
1. Proficiency in Electronic board designs with high current (>
100A RMS)
2. Experience in high-power switching devices such as MOSFETs.
3. Solid knowledge of converter topologies, including multi-level converters.
4. Knowledge of snubber circuits, transient limiters, and over-current detection
5. Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer.
NICE-TO-HAVE
1. Experience with industrial converters developement
2. Experience with automotive electronic boards development
3. Knowledge of battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
