Job Summary :

The Department of Multimedia, Animation and Graphic Design invites applications for the position of Teaching Assistant . The ideal candidate should possess sound technical knowledge in 3D Post Production, 3D Composition and visual effects software , assist faculty in conducting lab sessions, and provide academic and technical support to students during practical classes and project work.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist faculty members during practical sessions, workshops, and project-based classes.
• Maintain and manage the Animation Lab systems, software, and equipment to ensure smooth functionality.
• Support students with software operations and troubleshooting related to animation, VFX, and design projects.
• Provide technical assistance for rendering, compositing, and post-production processes.
• Help in organizing departmental events, student showcases, and exhibitions.
• Maintain inventory of lab resources, licenses, and hardware.
• Ensure data backup and safe handling of student work and departmental assets.

Requirements

Required Skills and Software Proficiency :

Requirements

Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Blender, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other relevant design / animation tools.
