Job Summary :
The Department of Multimedia, Animation and Graphic Design invites applications for the position of Teaching Assistant . The ideal candidate should possess sound technical knowledge in 3D Post Production, 3D Composition and visual effects software , assist faculty in conducting lab sessions, and provide academic and technical support to students during practical classes and project work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist faculty members during practical sessions, workshops, and project-based classes.
- Maintain and manage the Animation Lab systems, software, and equipment to ensure smooth functionality.
- Support students with software operations and troubleshooting related to animation, VFX, and design projects.
- Provide technical assistance for rendering, compositing, and post-production processes.
- Help in organizing departmental events, student showcases, and exhibitions.
- Maintain inventory of lab resources, licenses, and hardware.
- Ensure data backup and safe handling of student work and departmental assets.
Requirements
Required Skills and Software Proficiency :
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Maya , Nuke , Blender, Adobe After Effects , Photoshop , Premiere Pro , and other relevant design / animation tools.Familiarity with 2D and 3D animation production pipelines .Basic understanding of computer hardware, rendering systems, and software installation.Ability to assist in VFX compositing, 3Dlighting, texturing, and rendering workflows .Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Requirements
