Job description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Desk Consultant with 2 years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in secure file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP), secure communication technologies (SSH, SSL), and foundational networking concepts such as TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP.

This role demands proficiency in cryptography, firewall configurations, and application testing across various environments including development, testing, UAT, and production. Familiarity with data center types and migration strategies is essential. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support to end users.

Technical Skills Required :

  • Operating Systems (Windows, Linux), Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • File Transfer Protocols : FTP, SFTP
  • Secure Communication : SSH (including key management and configuration types), SSL (certificate updates and management)
  • Networking Fundamentals : TCP / IP, IP Addressing, Subnetting, Gateway, DNS, DHCP
  • Cryptography : Understanding of encryption types and applications
  • Firewall Technologies : Types and configuration principles
  • Application Testing : Familiarity with environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) and testing methodologies
  • Data Center Knowledge : Types and migration approaches

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience working with international clients is essential.
  • Proven experience in banking projects, especially related to KYC and AML domains.
  • Strong research and analytical skills ability to extract and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good to Have (Preferred) :

  • Basic understanding of technical concepts or data tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization tools).
  • Familiarity with compliance platforms or banking systems.
  • Experience working in a research or consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and financial compliance trends.
