Position Summary

This position is ideal for individuals who have an interest in the Postproduction aspect of media. It requires a highly motivated individual with attention to detail to understand the requirements of the clients and transform the Digital Media asset accordingly. This means understanding the fundamental nature of the editing tools for modifying and transcoding tools to make the final deliverable. The individual needs to have great organizational skills and troubleshooting skills. If you have a passion for Media in the technical aspects (like codecs and formats) and if you get a drive-by solving Media related technical puzzles this position is for you.

Outcomes and Accomplishments

As a Digital Production Technician, you will :

• Individual will edit, capture, compress and quality assure audio and video program material for subsequent theatrical and episodic releases.
• Video dubbing, editing, standards conversion, pre-processing, compression, and quality assurance testing.
• Audio editing, restoration, conversion, encoding, and quality assurance testing.
• Communicate and interact with the Production Manager, offloading units, and associated departments regarding issues related to the project.
• Ensure on-time and accurate completion of projects.
