Responsibilities

This is a

full-time on-site role for an Instrumentation Engineer

located in

Jharkhand .

The Instrumentation Engineer will be primarily responsible for the execution, supervision, and technical compliance of all

Instrumentation and Control (I&C)

activities on our ongoing

Blast Furnace projects . Day-to-day tasks will focus on the complete project lifecycle, including :

Project Responsibility :

Managing the I&C scope, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

On-site Supervision :

Directing and overseeing all

Erection, Testing, and Commissioning

activities for field instruments, DCS / PLC systems, and control loops.

Technical Compliance :

Interpreting and implementing engineering documentation, including P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, and cause-and-effect matrices ( Drawings Understanding ).

System Integration :

Collaborating with electrical and process teams to ensure the successful integration and handover of the automated control system.

Qualifications

Experience : Minimum

2+ years

of hands-on experience in relevant projects.

Industry : Mandatory

direct experience with

Blast Furnace

or similar heavy process industry instrumentation.

Education : B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma

in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Technical :

Strong knowledge of field instruments (e.g., transmitters, control valves), DCS / PLC hardware, and control loop tuning.

Project Skills : Proven ability in

Erection, Testing, and Commissioning

procedures.

Skills :

Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and robust communication abilities for site supervision.
