Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Head Chef / Sous Chef. The Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, quality control, and team management. Key responsibilities include maintaining high culinary standards, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. The Chef will also mentor and train kitchen staff, foster a collaborative work environment, and contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, menu design, and presentation
Leadership and team management experience
Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and procurement
Understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Culinary certification or equivalent experience preferred
