Site engineer (Mechnical)

Site Engineer for fabrication work. Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to oversee fabrication and installation activities at project sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fabrication, erection, and installation of steel structures, doors, or related components, ensuring work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities : Site Supervision : Oversee daily fabrication, erection, and installation activities at the site.

Drawing Interpretation : Read and execute work as per fabrication drawings and client specifications.

Coordination : Liaise with project managers, design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.

Quality Control : Ensure work quality aligns with design and company standards; conduct inspections and report deviations.

Material Management : Track material availability, usage, and inventory at the site.

Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory site regulations.

Progress Reporting : Maintain daily progress reports, manpower deployment, and site documentation.

Problem Solving : Identify and resolve on-site issues related to design, alignment, or material.

Vendor & Labour Management : Supervise subcontractors and labour teams for timely execution.

Qualification & Experience : Education : Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Experience : 3–5 years of experience in fabrication and erection work , preferably in metal doors, steel structures, or industrial fabrication projects.

Skills Required : Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and measurements

Knowledge of welding, cutting, and assembly processes

Good communication and coordination skills

Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (basic level)

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
